  • Remove Old Injectors: Unbolt the fuel rail and gently pull out the old injectors, taking care not to damage any surrounding components.
  • Install New Injectors: Lubricate the O-rings of the new injectors with clean engine oil and insert them into the fuel rail, ensuring they seat properly.
  • Reattach Fuel Rail: Carefully place the fuel rail with the new injectors back onto the engine, ensuring a secure fit and bolting it down to the specified torque settings.
  • Reconnect Fuel Lines: Reattach the fuel lines to the fuel rail, ensuring they are securely fastened to prevent leaks.
  • Reinstall Intake Manifold: Attach the intake manifold again, reconnecting all sensors and hoses that were removed during disassembly.
  • Check for Leaks: After everything is back in place, turn the ignition to the “on” position (without starting) to pressurize the fuel system and check for any leaks around the injectors.
  • Start Engine and Test: Finally, start the engine and let it idle, monitoring for any irregularities in performance or signs of fuel leaks.
